President

Kim McKeand

Kim McKeand is a retired data manager for the Department of Education, State of Ohio.  She obtained a Master’s Degree in Business and a Master’s Degree in Management Science from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She is an entrepreneur by nature and always has the desire to serve those in need. As such, helping individuals or families deal with the trauma of fighting cancer, encouraging cancer survivors, or remembering those who have lost their battle is why Kim became a board member with Kids Get Cancer Too.

Bringing awareness to the community about pediatric cancer and, always with compassion, remembering those daily for whom cancer affects, is her personal mission as Board President.  Kim is a devoted wife, mother of three, and grandmother of four.  She loves her Lord and is devoted to Him above all.  Kim loves attending and serving at Grace Fellowship Church in Pickerington, Ohio.

Secretary

Kim Perdew

Kim is a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Family Resources.  She is retired from Nationwide Insurance, after spending her career in Compliance/Legal. Kim is a mother of two and has 8 grandchildren. She is also a professional photographer but these days she’s enjoying taking photos of flowers, plants, and her grandchildren. 

She has long had a passion for volunteerism and enjoyed many opportunities while at Nationwide including volunteering at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. She was involved with her local TWIG chapter and held a position on the board of the TWIG’s of Nationwide Children’s Hospital for several years. During that time, she was heavily involved in the planning and execution of the TWIG Bazaar. She also had the opportunity to assist in the work of rebuilding New Orleans during a mission trip after Hurricane Katrina.

Bruce McKeand

Bruce McKeand is a small business owner qualified with over 40 years of experience in his field. His company, CGP, LLC, has been in the appraisal and antique industry since 1978. He is a leading provider of valuations, and over the past few years, he has established a proven track record for quality, trustworthy appraisals.

Jennifer Belt

Jen Belt is the artist and owner of Ruby Rose Studio, LLC. She is a self-taught artist that operates her one-woman shop out of the wee town of Orient, Ohio. She has been marketing her art online, at shows, and in stores around the country since 2006. She attended The University of Akron where she earned her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and English.

Brandon McKeand

Brandon McKeand is a loving father of two cats, whom he raises with his husband in Santa Cruz, California. He is the Director of Operations and Support for Exceedio, an IT company that specializes in support of non-profits, small businesses, and governmental infrastructure agencies, throughout California. He is a graduate of the University of California Santa Cruz with a degree in Computer Science from the Baskin School of Engineering. He has spent his life in customer service in one form or another for the last 20 years and finds joy in helping others as best he can. Finally, he enjoys long drives to remote places in search of the most spectacular campsites found in the US.

Brad Eberhard

Brad Eberhard is an Audit Principal with Clark, Schaefer, Hackett, & Co. His primary responsibilities include providing audit, review, and compilation services for non-profit organizations and employee benefit plans. His clients range from start-ups to multi-million-dollar companies. With over 15 years of experience covering a variety of audits, including manufacturing & distribution and not-for-profits of various sizes, Brad has become uniquely qualified to understand the issues and complexities affecting companies and organizations today.  Additionally, Brad represents his firm’s valuation practice in the Columbus market and performs valuations for a variety of clients involved in purchasing businesses, completing estate planning, and working through ownership changes. He also works with churches and religious organizations providing attest services and consulting, including control walk-throughs

In July 2020, Libby was diagnosed with brain cancer and spent nine months at Nationwide Children’s Hospital before beginning her new life as a cancer survivor. The family became immersed in a world they always knew existed but never thought they would be a part of. Through their experience they have learned firsthand the effects a childhood cancer diagnosis can have on the family. Brad and his wife look forward to using their families’ experience to encourage and help other families as they begin the journey no one ever wants to start.

Laura Mulligan

Laura Mulligan lives in Pickerington with her husband Ken and mother Diana. She has two adult children Kelsey (23) and Colin (19). Laura is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Family and Human Development. She has been in ministry for over 10 years. She was formerly the Director of Children's Ministry at Brice United Methodist Church. Currently serving as the Care Team Coordinator for Grace Fellowship, Pickerington Campus, and she serves as a Support Chaplain at Nationwide Children's Hospital. For fun, Laura enjoys traveling with her family, exercising, bible study, and her volunteer role as a Kindergarten small group leader each week in the Next ministry. She says, “I'm looking forward to serving children and families through Kids Get Cancer Too.”
